Suggested Readings Tip

Hi Friends!
I pray that you have been blessed and encouraged by the posts that you read here. If you've been able to read the entire post, then you will notice that at the end of each, I share suggested readings. These are verses that I meditated on throughout the week while preparing to write each post. Initially, some of these verses differed from the ones I shared on my Daily Bread page. Over the course of the last few weeks, the verses have been the same.
I'd like to take a moment to share a reading tip with these verses. If you make it a daily practice to read the Bible, then you know that it can be difficult to stop with just one verse. I would never be able to fit all the verses to apply to some of the topics I share here. That's a great thing, actually! I pray that with each little drop, you are encouraged to delve even deeper into the word.
Although I may share only a verse or two, I encourage you to read the entire passage that the verse comes from. In some instances, this will give you a greater context than a single verse can accomplish. As always, I implore you to pray and seek after the understanding that God has waiting for you.
Additionally, it won't be uncommon for me to use a verse that I used previously. It's because these Bible verses are genuinely life verses. They can apply to so many areas of our life that it's nearly impossible to apply a single verse to a single issue.
I pray that as you read, you will find encouragement in knowing that we are all on this road together. We have to encourage one another to hold on to our faith and remember the promises of God. One of the best ways we can do that is by meditating on these scriptures. So, I pray that you join along with me in doing so.
God bless!
(and Stay Sunny!)
